You’ll find Matt Morgan, one of America’s brightest young operatic stars, center stage. Now, WE THREE proudly welcomes the tenor as they begin a musical journey performing concerts and Italian festivals through out the United States.
Matt is no stranger to Pittsburgh. He was a featured artist with the PITTSBURGH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in A Streetcar Named Desire, under the baton of SIR ANDRÉ PREVIN and the PITTSBURGH OPERA in Anna Bolena featuring JUNE ANDERSON. Since making his debut with the PITTSBURGH OPERA, he has sung 13 roles with the company.
In addition, Matt has been the lead tenor in seven productions with the National Opera Company, which included performing as Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte and Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola.
Matt, a native of Louisiana, now resides in New York City, where he joined the roster of the NEW YORK CITY OPERA. Matt started taking voice lessons at the age of 15. Like many young singers, he wanted to be a rock singer, but discovered he was better suited singing classical music.
From comedy to romance, Matt has taken on more than 50 different roles and has sung in the U.S., Canada & Asia.
